Asten

Half a day is enough: town centre, Museum Klok & Peel, one meal. Sleep in Deurne, Helmond or Eindhoven and come in by bus.

Asten is a small Peel-region town in North Brabant, about 16,600 people, with one museum and a compact centre of cafés and restaurants around the Markt. There is no station in town, so you arrive by bus from Deurne or Helmond. Treat it as a half-day stop on a North Brabant route, not a base.

Get around

The centre is walkable in 10–15 minutes end to end. Regional buses link Asten with Deurne and Helmond; for anything beyond that, change at Deurne or Helmond for the train. A bike is the practical way to reach the Peel and the outlying B&Bs.
