Chlong
ឈ្លូង
Skip Chlong unless you have a spare half-day and want a quiet Mekong riverside town with no tourist infrastructure: 2–3 hours from Kratie by road, then a ferry ride.
Chlong is a small district centre in Eastern Cambodia, 30 km south of Kratie. It has a local market, a few guesthouses and a ferry across the Mekong. Most travellers pass through on the way between Kratie and Kampong Cham, but the town itself offers little beyond a glimpse of rural river life. A half-day stop is enough if you are curious; otherwise, spend the time in Kratie or Banlung.
