Skip Galt as a destination. Use it only as a cheap overnight base for Lodi wine country or a quick stop on CA-99: half a day, zero sights worth a detour.
Galt is a 19th-century railroad town with a single historic house and a new hotel. It has no passenger rail, no walkable centre and no reason to visit except a low-cost bed near Lodi's vineyards. Most travellers should drive straight through.
