Kwajalein
Skip unless you are US military, a contractor or a dependent with base access. Everyone else: go to Ebeye instead.
Kwajalein Atoll is a restricted US Department of Defense missile-testing site. The island is closed to the general public. Only active-duty US military personnel, civilian contractors and their dependents may enter. Civilian passengers on commercial flights are transported to neighbouring Ebeye. For most travellers the atoll is not a destination.
