- A free 15-minute stop on the Rock, five minutes from the palace square: the graves of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace, and cool stone in the heat; go with covered shoulders and skip it during Mass.
Oceanographic Museum of Monaco
Go for two hours, in the middle of the day when the Rock is hot: an aquarium and marine-science museum built into the cliff in 1910, with a rooftop terrace; book a timed ticket online in summer.
