Northern Arizona is one big loop of canyon, mesa and pine forest, and the sights sit 1–3 hours apart by car. Pick one base — Flagstaff for the parks and Route 66 towns, Sedona for red rock and hiking — and drive out from it. Two nights minimum, three to four if you add Page or the Navajo Nation.

Bags between cities

Luggage forwarding is rare in the US; drive your bags between bases. Flagstaff, Sedona and Page are 45 min–2 h 15 apart, so a single base beats a mid-trip hotel change unless you add the South Rim overnight.
