Pristina is a one-to-two-night city: walk the boulevard and the old town in a morning, spend the afternoon in cafés, and use it as the base for Prizren or Gračanica.
Pristina is a small, young, café-heavy capital where the sights are a few streets apart and the main risks are the airport transfer, winter air pollution and construction dust, not distance. There are no big timed tickets. A first visit is one morning on foot and one evening in the cafés; Prizren and Gračanica are trips away from one kept bed. Sights change hours without notice, so treat every opening time here as unconfirmed.

- Greetings: Greet people with Mirëdita or a handshake; take your time with introductions.
- Mosques: Shoulders and knees covered; remove shoes; women may cover their hair; avoid prayer times and Friday midday.
- Coffee: A macchiato buys a table for an hour; the bill is usually paid at the counter or when you leave; ask for it with 'Llogarinë, ju lutem'.
- Photos: Ask before photographing people; do not photograph police, military sites or checkpoints.
- Politics: Kosovo's status and the 1999 war are sensitive; listen more than you argue.
- Tipping: About 5–10% in restaurants; round up in cafés and taxis.
