Sri Antu
Go for one sunrise only: jeep from Fikkal Bazaar about 1 h, then a 15-min walk; be at the tower 04:00–05:30, back by mid-morning.
Sri Antu is a hill viewpoint on Nepal's eastern border, about 600 km from Kathmandu, known for sunrise over tea-covered hills. You reach it by a 1-hour jeep ride from Fikkal Bazaar plus a 15-minute walk to a free-entry tower. Autumn gives the clearest sunrise; the visit itself takes half a day, so sleep in a nearby town rather than here.
