Yichang
Spend 1–2 days in Yichang to see the Three Gorges Dam and a nearby cave or village; longer only for a Yangtze cruise.
Yichang sits on the Yangtze just downstream of the Three Gorges Dam. The city’s main draws are the dam, the Three Visitors Cave and the Tribe of the Three Gorges village, all reachable by short bus rides. A single day covers the dam and one site; add a night if you want a river cruise or extra rest.
