A small indoor museum on the Upper Town hill: about an hour, air-conditioned, good at midday; check the opening hours for your date.- Look at the tiled roof from St Mark's Square in the morning, and go in only if the doors are open: 20 minutes, outside is the point, and the square is also the Parliament and Government square.
Lotrščak Tower and Strossmayer Promenade
Climb the tower for a rooftop view over the Lower Town, or just walk the shaded promenade beside it; go before noon for the daily cannon shot, 30 minutes.
