Caracas and the Cordillera: Caracas sits about 900 m up, so days are mild year-round; the rainy season runs roughly May to October, with afternoon downpours.
Coastal beaches: Hot and humid; sea breezes moderate the heat. December to April is the drier stretch.

The dry months (December–April) are the most comfortable for the coast and mountain roads.
