The Central West is Brazil's only landlocked region and its capital region: Brasília's modernist plan, the Pantanal wetland on the western border, and cerrado highlands with caves, waterfalls and hiking around Goiás. Distances are large and buses are slow, so pick one or two bases and fly between them.
