Malokurilskoye is the main settlement on Shikotan Island in the Kuril Islands, population about 2,230 (Wikidata; Wikivoyage gives 2,285 for 2021). Wikivoyage lists a church, two places to eat, three guesthouses and two travel agencies, and nothing else. Sea passenger service from Sakhalin runs on the motor ships Igor Farkhutdinov and Polaris (check schedule and booking). Whether the journey is worth it depends on your ferry dates, not on the village.
