Entry and arrival
On arrival at Yangon, Mandalay or Nay Pyi Taw airports, present your passport, the e-visa approval letter, and a completed arrival card. Immigration may ask for proof of onward travel and accommodation. Keep a copy of your e-visa and passport data page with you.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry. Some travellers report that immigration enforces this strictly. Carry a printed copy of your e-visa even if you have the digital version on your phone, as phone access can be unreliable.
If you are entering overland, expect additional checks and possibly a separate visa process. Confirm the current status of your planned border crossing before you travel, as closures happen.
