Tiswadi is the island district that holds Panaji, Goa's capital, plus the old Portuguese capital at Old Goa and the church at Talaulim. Sleep in Panaji for two nights and treat the rest as short hops: Old Goa is about 30 minutes by bus or taxi, Talaulim about 20 minutes, and the North Goa beach belt about 45 minutes. It is a base, not a beach destination.
