  Two rainy seasons (March–June, September–November) with a short dry spell in July–August.

• Western highlands · Dschang, Bafoussam, Foumbanrainy

  Cool evenings at 1,200–1,600 m; muddy side roads in the rains.

• Adamawa plateau · Ngaoundérérainy

  Grassland at about 1,100 m; the end of the railway from Yaoundé.
