Gilimanuk
Stop in Gilimanuk only to catch the ferry to Java; a 2–3 h layover, no overnight stay needed.
Gilimanuk is a tiny port town at Bali's western tip, mainly a ferry gateway to Java. Attractions are limited to a small museum and nearby West Bali National Park, so a few hours suffice.
