Manitoba is one city plus a lot of distance. Half the province's 1.3 million people live in Winnipeg, and the worthwhile short trips — Lower Fort Garry, Grand Beach, Oak Hammock Marsh — sit within 1–2 hours of it. Churchill is 1,700 km north: a 37-hour train or a flight, not a day trip. Decide Winnipeg-plus-drive or Winnipeg-plus-Churchill before you book.
