Skip unless you need a quiet rural stop on the Suphanburi–Kanchanaburi route: half a day for the Krasieo Dam walk, then move on.
Dan Chang is a small sugar-cane town in northwest Suphanburi Province, best known for the 4.25 km Krasieo earthen dam and reservoir. It has no major sights beyond the dam, limited accommodation and a handful of local eateries. Most travellers use it as a transit point between Suphanburi and Kanchanaburi or Ban Rai.
